Modern missiles and war equipments in India are developed using vedic texts and ancient war equipments only, says Scientist Shivadhanupillai, Indian Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

The Supersonic Missile Bhramos, which passes three times faster than sound was designed after the ancient war equipment, "Bhramasthiram" which was used during Mahabharata. Now DRDO is set into a mission of designing a hypersonic missile which can travel seven times faster than sound. We are also set into developing a missile which can return back to the launching spot after destroying the target. This idea, we got from the Sudharshana Chakra which is present in Lord Vishnu's hand.
