Here are 10 Golden Tips which you can easily follow every-day to
help you improve the quality of life. Out of these 5 tips are for
weight-reduction, and 5 tips are for boosting immunity.

It would be a good idea, if you can print them and
stick them up in your kitchen or the Fridge-door !

#1 : Excess salt can make you feel bloated and contribute to high
blood pressure. Cut down on processed or canned foods to reduce salt
intake. Try, not to take any salt at all, in dinner. Avoiding salt
completely in your last meal of the day, would help you lose weight
fast.

#2 : Myth Buster - Ab crunches are not the best way to lose belly
fat. High intensity aerobics and cardio-exercises is a far better
way to trim your tummy.

#3 : When eating out, you should choose steamed, grilled and stir
fried dishes as they contain less fat than deep-fried and gravy
dishes

#4 : Watermelons are a rich source of a powerful antioxidant and
immune-booster called Glutathione, that helps you to fight
infections. However, watermelon, is less in fibre, so if you take
watermelon juice, you can add a teaspoon of wheat bran or oat bran
into it, to supplement your fibre intake.

#5 : A ripe banana along with 1 or 2 spoonfuls of honey consumed
daily can boost your haemoglobin levels and protect you from
anaemia.

#6 : Deep breathing that inflates your belly when you inhale and
slowly deflates it when you exhale, is a good and quick stress
buster, also improves your high blood pressure, and helps in
flushing out toxins.

#7 : To avoid a heartburn, and to aid in loosing weight, take small
meals, and have dinner atleast 3-4 hours before bedtime.

#8 : The Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 3
litres of total beverages in a day, and women consume 2.2 litres/day

#9 : Studies have shown that people who write down what food they
eat lose almost twice as much weight as people who do not.

#10 : Placing chilled bags of green tea on puffy eyes is one of the
best ways to reduce the puffiness. Washing your face more than twice
a day with soap, strips it of natural oils and moisture making it
dry and prone to wrinkles.
