சந்தியாவந்தனம் செய்யும்பொழுது While doing sandhyavandhanam

சந்தியாவந்தனம் செய்யும்பொழுது ''சர்வதேவ நமஸ்கார: கேசவம் ப்ரதிக்கச்சதி ஸ்ரீ கேசவம் ப்ரதிக்கச்சது ஓம் நம இதி'' என்று அனைத்து தேவதைகளுக்கும் செய்யப்படும் நமஸ்காரம் ஸ்ரீ கேசவனையே சென்றடையட்டும் என்று சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

இந்த இடத்தில் கேசவம் என்ற பதத்தை கிருஷ்ணன் என்றே பலரும் நினைத்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் கேசவ என்ற பதம் கிருக்ஷ்ணனைக் குறிப்பதல்ல.

கேசவ - க , ஈச, வ
என்று பிரிகிறது
க - கமலோத்பவன் என்ற ப்ரஹ்மாவையும்
ஈச - ஈஸ்வரனையும்
வ - விக்ஷ்ணுவையும்
குறிக்கிறது.

ஆக கேசவ என்ற நாமம் ப்ரஹ்மா, ஈஸ்வரன், விக்ஷ்ணு ஆகிய மூவரும் இணைந்த பரமேஸ்வரையே கேசவ என்ற நாமம் குறிக்கிறது.
பரமேஸ்வரர் எனப்படுபவர் ரூபமற்ற குணங்களற்ற எங்கும் நிரைந்த ப்ரஹ்மம் ஆகும்.

While doing sandhyavandhanam the sentense, " sarvadheva namaskara: Kesavan prathikkachathi
Sri Kesavam Prathikkachathu Om nama ithi" is said as the salute given to all deities goes to Kesava by the doers of sandhyavandhanam.

In this place most of the people think that the term Kesava refers to Krishna. But in fact it's not like that.

In the name KESAVA = KA + EESA + VA

KA = Kamalothbhavan (ie. Brahma)
EESA = Eswara 
VA = Vishnu

Therefore the term KESAVA denotes the all 3's Brahma, Eswara & Vishnu (ie. Collective form of those 3 as PARAMESHWARA.

Parameshwara is the Brahmam which is formless & Charecterless as the whole universe and above universe.

 परोपकाराय फलन्ति वृक्षा: परोपकाराय वहन्ति नद्यः।

 परोपकाराय दुहन्ति गावः परोपकाराय इदं शरीरम्।
