There was a confused layman in a small town.
He one day went to the post office to dispatch a letter.
Due to his poor memory he forgot the last line of the address of recipient.
He felt it as a prestige issue to ask something which he didn't know.
He then thought for a while and scribbled something hoping that it will be binding on the postman to find out the correct address through trial/error and deliver.
He also wrote a proverb on the envelop to give an impression of that of an educated person.
He dropped the letter into the post box, went home and happily slept.
The post man picked up the letter and saw that the address was not legible.
He said to himself "An illegible address is equivalent to an incomplete address and tore the letter into pieces."
Moral: Clarity of thought is more important than how big you think.
